As we begin a new church year, I am excited at the possibilities and the future of this church. We have had a great year of growth, fellowship, and unity, all because God has richly blessed us. We cannot take credit for ourselves for we are nothing without Christ. As we enter this new year, let us always keep God as our guide using His word as our source of spiritual knowledge.
Sunday, Sept 12 has been set aside as "High Attendance Day" Our goal for Sunday School is 82. Each class has set their goal and are working to achieve it. It is our prayer that we will reach our goal and that people will see the benefits of coming to Sunday School. We have a class for every age group and each class has a great teacher, equipped and prepared to teach God's word each Sunday.
Along with High Attendance Day is a potluck dinner following our morning service. Everyone is invited to come and stay and fellowship.
Discipleship Training will be at 5:00 PM and Evening Worship at 6:00 beginning on the 12th. The adults will be studying for a few weeks, "Learning to Share My Faith." Everyone is invited to take part in this study to learn to tell someone about Jesus.
I am excited in this new church year and hope and pray that you are too!
