Got back tonight from a mission trip to Atchison, Kansas. Spent 3 days shoveling mulch, prayerwalking, passing out information for a new church start, and spending time helping church planters Scott and Melissa Murphy. Had a great time with fellow ministers from the Black River Baptist Association, Brent Powell, Bob Kary, Hal and Esther Garrett. Pray for Scott and Melissa as they continue the work God has called them to in Atchison. There is no Southern Baptist Church in the city and a strong evil presence is there. It is a God sized task, so pray that God will use Scott and Melissa and give them encouragement and strength. They begin a home Bible Study on July 19th, pray for the folks who will attend. Pray that the Spirit of God will sweep over Atchison, Kansas.
